WiFi Configuration via SEMS Portal App

Before using the SEMS app, ensure your phone is set up correctly:
1. Turn OFF Mobile Data
Go to Settings → Mobile Data / Cellular Data → Turn Off
This is important because mobile data can interfere with the direct Wi-Fi connection to the inverter.
2. Turn ON Wi-Fi (WLAN)
Go to Settings → Wi-Fi / WLAN → Turn On
3. Connect to the Inverter’s Wi-Fi

Look for a Wi-Fi network named: Solar-WiFiXXXXXXXX
(The last 8 characters are the final 8 digits of your inverter’s serial number.)
Tap the network to connect. When prompted for a password, enter:12345678
Note: Your phone will show “No internet connection” — this is normal because you are connecting directly to the inverter, not the internet.
WiFi Configuration on the SEMS App
1. Run SEMS App on your mobile. Click 'Network Link' in login page.
2. Click “Search Device” under WLAN page. And connect to device.
The app will scan for available inverters connected to your phone via Wi-Fi.
When your inverter appears in the list:
Select it by tapping its name,and wait for the app to confirm the connection.
- If the device does not appear:
- Make sure you are still connected to Solar-WiFi.
- Move closer to the inverter.
- Refresh and search again
3. Click WLAN/LAN
This is the option for setting up the inverter to connect to your home router (Wi-Fi) or via Ethernet (if applicable)
4. Click your Wi-Fi Name and input the password.
At this stage, the app will prepare to ask you for your router’s Wi-Fi details
NOTE: MAKE SURE THE DHCP IS TURNED ON
